Basha wanted an advertisement that showed a carpet and a shawl from his extraordinary collection of Oriental masterpieces, but also featured something of the rich Kashmiri culture he brought to his shop. Basha had learned to be a musician and singer of sacred chants as a child growing up in Srinagar. Sometimes at special evening events, Basha would chant and play the traditional percussion instrument, Ghatam.
